Here, the land changes inch by inch, as the locals would say, the naked sciara (what remains of the lava after it has turned cold) coexisting with the cultivation of Arab citrus and Greek olive trees.

Local wines, the natural microcosms of the Nebrodi chain, the deep incisions in the volcanic rocks and cliffs of the Alcantara Gorge, Catania, one of Sicily’s major cities, and the pretty town of Taormina, where folk traditions come to life.

The structure consists of seventeen rooms all distributed in different contexts. A few suites for a stay with a unique and authentic character.

Some are located on the first floor of the old manor house, others in the spaces that in the past were dedicated to the conservation of wine, i.e. the wine cellar, and still others completely immersed in the green of the countryside, where large windows make the walls of these rooms look like the surrounding citrus trees.

A place where nature privileges transparency, since thanks to the large windows overlooking the picturesque Sicilian countryside, guests are offered the chance to experience a dimension where the alternation of light and shadow defines the spaces of rest.

The large outdoor areas, such as the garden and swimming pool, make it a fascinating and suggestive place for various types of events, from business meetings, parties, exhibitions to fashion shows and showrooms, thanks to the diversity of the spaces and the flexibility of use.

Nothing is left to chance: the pool is made of Etna lava stone, strong and powerful. Bare feet touch the water and feel the wood, while the warmth of the intimate spaces meets the local aromas.

In an intimate and cosy place where time has stopped, space is given to the smells and flavours of nature: this is how the evocative Michelin-starred restaurant is inserted around and inside the tank where the wine fermented.

Local wine and flavours of the land are served under magnificent vaulted ceilings with limestone and pumice, a product of the still active volcano.
